The East Allgäu is well-known for its lake landscape - so there are many different bathing possibilities in the vicinity of our campsite, besides the Forggensee. Indoor swimming pools are also in the immediate vicinity, so you will find the right bathing opportunity in any weather.
Royal Crystal Thermal Bath Schwangau
Let yourself be carried away into another world and experience a unique bathing and wellness area in the face of the royal castles. King Ludwig II. chose for his castle Neuschwanstein the most beautiful area of his Bavarian country. And it is exactly here, in the face of the royal castles, that this truly royal crystal thermal spring was created. Here you will find natural brine thermal baths, an outdoor pool with a torrent strudel, panoramic medicinal water pools, swan sauna, royal sauna, emerald sauna, crystal sauna, panoramic sauna, three steam baths, wellness and massage centre, a heated outdoor pool, a restaurant and a bistro.
Alpine Pool Pfronten
The Alpine Pool Pfronten not only offers a swimming experience in bad weather, but is also worth a visit in winter with its heated outdoor pool. The outdoor and indoor pool offers a unique panoramic view of the Alps. You will find a large water slide both inside and outside. The current channel, rock grotto and the winter garden with sunbathing area leave nothing to be desired.
Alpsitz Bathing Centre Nesselwang
The ABC adventure pool with its sauna and wellness area is a real alternative to the usual pools in the immediate vicinity.
Alpine Outdoor Pool Trauchgau
Enjoy the fantastic view of the Allgäu mountain world and the various amenities of the Alpine Outdoor Pool Trauchgau - for example the swimming pool, two fun pools for children and teenagers or the large sunbathing areas. In addition, the outdoor pool offers a cafeteria, a children's playground, a volleyball court and a skater facility.
Lido at Hopfensee
The lido is located in the western part of Hopfen am See, directly on the lakeside road.
Hopfensee is one of the warmest lakes in Bavaria. The open-air bath at Hopfensee is equipped for a long bathing season with kiosk, children's playground and miniature golf. Surfing (surfing school), sailing, fishing and walking on the extra course around the lake, as well as a boat rental complete the offer. Walkers are enthusiastic about the hiking trails around the Hopfensee in all seasons.
Lido at Mittersee
The lido at Mittersee is located west of Füssen in the district of Bad Faulenbach, directly on the Alatseestraße in the Faulenbach valley. It offers a diving tower and a water slide, a small children's playground, a large sunbathing lawn with sufficient shade and a terrace café/restaurant where hikers and cyclists also like to stop off for a bite to eat.
Lido at Weißensee
The lido at Weißensee is located on the western shore of the lake in the Füssen district of Weißensee-See. Besides the natural lido, there is also a music pavilion, a beach bar and a boat rental.
Municipal Lido at Obersee
Like Mittersee, the municipal Lido at Obersee is located west of Füssen in the Bad Faulenbach district, in the Faulenbach valley on Alatseestraße. Here, in addition to the spa bath with diving board, you will also find a marked non-swimmer's area (children's area), a children's playground and shady sunbathing areas.
