Your Holiday in the Beautiful Allgäu
Brunnen is a part of Schwangau in the administrative district East Allgaeu - this part of Bavaria is also called King's Angle. We are surrounded by beautiful nature reserves, among others the Ammer mountain range.
A grandiose contrasting programme of mountains, lakes and valleys awaits you. Our camping site is situated next to Forggensee, the fourth largest lake in Bavaria, which reaches its full dam height from June to October. You can reach us directly via the "Romantic Road", which stretches from Würzburg to Füssen.

A Great Experience in Summer and Winter
Summertime is THE camping season par excellence. Bathing in the sun during the day, sitting together in the evening with a cool beer and barbecue - how could a summer's day turn out better? In order for our guests to have a great time relaxing in an excellent way, there must of course be no lack of comfort, and the wonderful leisure and excursion possibilities around the Brunnen campsite do the rest.
What could be more natural than cooling off on a hot day in Forggensee? Only a few steps away from our campsite the cool water is waiting for you and invites you to swim, surf and sail. For those who would like to learn sailing, the Forggensee Yacht and Sailing School, for example, offers courses for all ages.
But also in winter the Allgäu is worth a visit. Skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, cross-country skiing or winter hiking - all kinds of winter sports are possible here. When the weather is beautiful, the winter landscape can also be enjoyed simply by taking a walk.
You will find well-prepared slopes, a large network of cross-country ski runs and toboggan runs, as well as of course winter hiking trails with stops at various huts in the immediate vicinity of our campsite.
