Time for Family Moments
Spring is here, and with it comes the best time for shared experiences in nature. The meadows around Camping Brunnen are in bloom, the sun is shining more often, and the fresh air makes you want to go on adventures with the whole family.
Easter is a particularly cozy time here: Children can explore nature, maybe even find an Easter basket or two, while the adults relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Whether it’s breakfast together in front of the camper, playing outdoors, or taking short excursions—this is where lasting memories are made.

Restaurant
Welcome to our cozy restaurant with beer garden. Look forward to Bavarian specialties, hearty home-style cooking, homemade pizzas, soups, salads, and sweet cakes. We are also happy to prepare vegetarian and allergy-friendly dishes for you.

Our campsite
Our campsite is set in a natural location on a peninsula in Lake Forggensee – beautifully nestled between water, mountains, and meadows. The view of the Allgäu Alps and the world-famous royal castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau makes every stay truly special.

Pitches for motorhomes
All pitches are equipped with their own electricity connection. Modern sanitary facilities and numerous water points ensure comfort. Our comfort pitches additionally offer fresh water and wastewater connections. Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire site.

Cozy sleeping barrels
Cozy, rustic, and a special experience: Our sleeping barrels offer space for two people in a double bed. One child can stay overnight for an additional fee. Equipped with a small terrace, electricity, heating, and bed linen for a comfortable stay.

Tent pitches on the tent hill
Camping close to nature – on our terraced tent hill with views of the Allgäu Alps and Lake Forggensee. The reservable terraced tent pitches can be booked online and include a separate parking space for your vehicle.

Attractions right on your doorstep
Whether on foot, by bike, or by car – cultural highlights await just around the corner from our campsite. The royal castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau are within view and perfect for a day trip, as is the baroque church of St. Coloman.
The High Castle in Füssen and the St. Mang Monastery are also close by. The world-famous Wieskirche is just a 20-minute drive away.
Our location is also ideal for day trips: The cities of Munich and Augsburg can be reached in around an hour, and the Austrian town of Reutte with its impressive Ehrenberg castle ruins is just 30 minutes away. It’s the perfect combination of nature and culture.

An outdoor paradise awaits you all around our campsite. The Allgäu is made for everyone who loves being active in the fresh air – whether hiking across blooming meadows, through quiet forests, or up to scenic mountain peaks.
In addition to a wide range of sports and leisure opportunities, we offer a varied activity program including yoga, meditation, walking, games for all ages, wine tastings, and much more. There’s something for everyone – just follow your mood and enjoy.

Our story dates back to the late 1950s – with passion and hospitality, Camping Brunnen has grown into one of the most beautiful campsites in the Allgäu. Since 2023, we, Isabell-Marie Lerch and Julian Hasieber, have had the pleasure of welcoming you to this special place.
As your hosts, we welcome you to our fairytale peninsula on Lake Forggensee – nestled between water and mountains, between the musical theatre and the royal castles. We look forward to making your stay truly unforgettable!
