The surroundings of Camping Brunnen invite you to explore actively: Numerous hiking and walking trails start directly from the campsite, leading to viewpoints, chapels, or simply to Lake Forggensee. Cyclists will enjoy perfectly signposted bike paths, whether leisurely along the water or more challenging into the hilly foothills of the Alps.
For those aiming higher, the nearby Ammergau Alps and Tannheimer Mountains offer numerous mountain tours for all levels. In winter, many of these trails transform into well-groomed cross-country skiing tracks, some passing right by the campsite.
Just a few minutes’ walk away is the Forggensee boat trip pier, where you can embark on a relaxing cruise across the lake with a unique view of Neuschwanstein Castle.
A very special highlight: the King Ludwig Musical at the Festspielhaus Füssen, located right by the lake. This elaborately staged production about the life of Ludwig II combines music, history, and the breathtaking backdrop of the Allgäu – a true experience!
